On January 10th, under the chairmanship of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, the provincial People’s Committee had a meeting with Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Funayama, General Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam to survey and find investment opportunities in industrial parks in the area of Nghe An province.
Attending the meeting, there was Mrs. Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee along with the representatives of some departments.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the investment efficiency of Mitsubishi Corporation in recent years in Vietnam, especially with the visit, survey to find investment opportunities in Nghe An today. On behalf of Nghe An, the provincial leaders considered this as a great opportunity and will create the most favorable conditions for the company to learn all policies of attraction and preference of Nghe An province. At the same time, the province asserted that Japanese investors, including Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, will be concerned.

Then, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mrs. Le Ngoc Hoa directly introduced the general situation of Nghe An with the Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam delegation, in which emphasized the geographic advantages: the central province in the country, large natural land area, high population, large skilled labour force, rich minerals potentials and basically invested and completed transport infrastructure of road, sea, air and railway. In addition to that, the supply system of electricity, water, information, communications, finance, banking, insurance, healthcare centers, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants are all invested and constructed with guaranteed quality.

Up to now, Nghe An province was planned and constructed the infrastructure of large economic zones, industrial complexes such as Southeast Economic Zone, VSIP Industrial Park, Dong Hoi, Hoang Mai, Nam Cam, Hemaraj, Tho Loc, etc. having all necessary factors for foreign enterprises and companies to invest. Especially, investment procedures processes in Nghe An are being implemented under the one-stop-shop with the maximum shortened time for enterprises.

At the end of the meeting, the provincial People’s Committee’s leaders and the Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam’s delegation agreed some related matters to the field survey processes to have reasonable decisions in the future.
