From September 17 to 18, 2026, the Shandong (China) – Nghe An (Vietnam) Cooperation Promotion and Exchange Conference was successfully held. The event marked a significant milestone in attracting Zibo’s (Shandong) agricultural products and industrial catering supply chain to Vietnam, with Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation playing a core role in facilitating this strategic connection.

As part of a series of activities aimed at promoting economic cooperation opportunities under the “Belt and Road” initiative, the Shandong – Nghe An Investment Promotion Conference was held sequentially in Qingdao and Weifang (Shandong Province, China).
The high-level delegation of Nghe An Province, led by Mr. Bui Thanh An, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, attended the event alongside leaders of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board, the Department of Construction, the Department of Finance, and Hoang Mai Ward.

On the Chinese side, the event featured the participation of the Zibo Industrial Catering Industry Association, along with leading enterprises in the fields of agricultural products, food processing, and industrial catering management, such as Huanong Agriculture (Gaoqing), Kaixin Bean Food, Zibo Yicheng Food, and Dingshun Catering Management. The parties jointly discussed measures to realize the strategy of “Bringing Zibo Cuisine to the Global Market.”
Speaking at the event, Mr. Bui Thanh An introduced the province’s geographical advantages and industrial development planning to the attending entrepreneurs. Subsequently, Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Huyen, General Director of Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation, presented a comprehensive overview of the industrial development space in Nghe An. The representative from Hoang Thinh Dat provided an in-depth analysis of infrastructure planning and the project-hosting capacity of the industrial parks developed by the company, while directly addressing foreign enterprises’ queries regarding investment procedures. During the conference, the potential for cooperation was demonstrated through practical figures and models. Goertek Vina—a Shandong enterprise that has successfully invested in Nghe An—shared its practical experience in labor management, utilizing tax incentives, and complying with local laws, offering valuable lessons for subsequent investors.

Zibo enterprises also made a strong impression by showcasing their key product chains: Huanong Agriculture with its standardized vegetable farming model (currently supplying the AEON network); Yicheng Food with its roll cakes supplied to the 7-Eleven chain; and Kaixin Bean Food with its deep-processed soybean products. During the intermission, representatives of Vietnamese authorities and enterprises had the opportunity to taste the “Tian Shuji” (Sweet Secretary) rose mulberry vinegar drink, sourced from the strontium-rich production area of Yiyuan County, Zibo City.

This Shandong – Nghe An Economic and Trade Promotion and Exchange Conference stands as a significant milestone in realizing the global expansion strategy of “Zibo Cuisine.” It is a crucial step for Zibo’s food ingredients and industrial catering sectors to expand beyond Shandong and enter the Vietnamese market. Simultaneously, it serves as a vivid testament to rural industry revitalization, the transformation and upgrading of the food industry, and the continued opening up of Zibo’s real economy. With the close support of the Nghe An provincial government and the infrastructure connectivity provided by Hoang Thinh Dat, this investment promotion conference not only opens up new markets for Shandong enterprises but also promises to bring a breakthrough in upgrading agriculture and perfecting the industrial catering service supply chain in Nghe An in the future.
