Hoang Mai II Industrial Park – Nghe An

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Following the success of Hoang Mai I Industrial Park in attracting FDI investment to Nghe An province, Hoang Mai II Industrial Park has been approved by the Prime Minister for investment as its investment policy according to Decision No. 1164/QD-TTg on October 9, 2023. Hoang Mai II Industrial Park is expected to become a new destination for projects in the fields of manufacturing, assembling electrical and electronic equipment, and production projects in the new energy and renewable energy industries.

SCALE

The total area of the Industrial Park is 334.79 ha, of which the land allocated for secondary investors to lease for workshop and factory investment is 232.25 ha (accounting for 69.45%). The Industrial Park plans a land fund of more than 15 ha (nearly 5%) to serve administrative buildings, offices, and services to serve the needs of customers in the Industrial Park.

NATURAL CONDITIONS

  • The plain terrain has an average elevation of 50m.
  • Good geological conditions, no flooding, and little need for land filling.
  • 24km from Nghi Son deep-water port.
  • 79km from Vinh airport.
  • 3km from the intersection of National Highway 48D and the North-South Expressway, reducing travel time between Hanoi and Hoang Mai to just 3 hours.
  • Located in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.

INFRASTRUCTURE

  • Transportation, surface drainage:
    • Main road: 24m (Phase 1 completed with a width of 12m)
    • Internal roads: 11.5m
  • Electricity supply: The power supply for the Industrial Park is sourced from two 110kV substations with a capacity of 6x63MVA in the Industrial Park.
  • Wastewater treatment: After preliminary treatment to remove all chemicals exceeding Type B standards, the domestic wastewater m factories will be sent to the Industrial Park’s wastewater treatment plant to achieve Type A wastewater standards according to national standards before discharging into the Industrial Park’s drainage canal. The wastewater treatment plant in the Industrial Park has a maximum capacity of 30,000 m3/day-night.
  • Clean water: Clean water for the Industrial Park is supplied from the Hoang Mai Water Plant with a design capacity of 80,000 CMD, currently operating at 55,000 CMD and extracting 15,000 CMD.
  • Dormitory: Planning for 50.82 ha to build residential areas for workers.

TOTAL INVESTMENT CAPITAL

Total investment capital for the Hoang Mai II Industrial Park: 1900 billion VND.

PROJECT DURATION

The project’s operational period is 50 years from the date of the investment decision (until 2073).
