On January 10th afternoon, Mitsubishi Group field surveyed in 3 industrial parks in Southeast Economic Zone to select the location of the automotive production factory in the province.
Members of Mitsubishi Group surveyed 3 industrial parks: VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, WHA Hemaraj Cienco 4 Joint Stock Company, Hoang Mai Industrial Park and visited Vissai Nghe An Seaport, Cua Lo Seaport to choose the investment site for an automotive assembly plant in Nghe An.
VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park in Hung Nguyen district has a total area of 750 hectares and is currently completed construction of infrastructure. VSIP Industrial Park signed 12 investment pledges with a total area of 12.6 hectares of industrial land. The total registered capital is estimated at 820 billion VND. Among them, 8 projects were granted the investment certificates. At present, 2 factories have come into operation.
The industrial park of WHA Hemaraj Cienco 4 Joint Stock Company in Nghi Loc district has a total area of 498 hectares. It is currently in the phase of site clearance and infrastructure construction, ready to meet the infrastructure requirements of the investor.
Hoang Mai Industrial Park (Hoang Mai town) has an area of 244 hectares, of which 170 hectares is industrial land. Currently, the industrial park has basically completed the infrastructure, called for investors to build factories.
After the survey, members of Mitsubishi Group evaluated the transportation system connecting the regions in the province quite convenient. Especially, there is the seaport system near the industrial parks, which is very convenient for freight.
Hopefully after the survey, with the attracting investment policies of the province, Mitsubishi Group will invest in an automotive production factory in Nghe An province in the future.
