On the afternoon of October 13, Nghe An province organized a meeting with typical businesses and entrepreneurs on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day in order to celebrate the vital contributions of the business community to the province’s socio-economic development.
Attending the event were Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Le Hong Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and over 300 distinguished entrepreneurs and enterprises from across the province.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Le Hong Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged and praised the efforts of the business community while sharing the difficulties caused by economic fluctuations, policy challenges, and natural disasters.
The head of the People’s Committee of Nghe An also noted that although the number of enterprises in Nghe An has grown rapidly, most remain small-scale (about 97%), with limited management capacity, technological application, and competitiveness, as well as weak linkages between local, out-of-province, and foreign-invested businesses.

Meanwhile, the goal of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 – 2030 term is: “Strive to make Nghe An a fairly developed province with national growth in the new era”. This is not only the goal of the new term, but also an honorable promise and political commitment of the Party, State and People of the province.
To achieve that goal, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed: The team of businesses and entrepreneurs plays a particularly important role, as pointed out in the spirit of Resolution No. 68 dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.
Mr. Le Hong Vinh urged the entrepreneurial community to unite, innovate, and overcome challenges alongside provincial authorities and citizens to elevate Nghe An’s development. He outlined five key tasks for enterprises: Adapt flexibly and innovate in production and business; Strengthen cooperation and linkages with other enterprises and FDI partners; Enhance management capacity and business ethics; Promote the role of business associations in supporting members and social responsibility; Maintain open dialogue and partnership with government for a transparent, enabling business environment.
At the program, the Chairman of the People’s Committee presented Certificates of Merit to 10 outstanding entrepreneurs and 21 exemplary enterprises of 2025. Among them, Mr. Hoang Van Duong – Chairman of the Board and General Director of Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation – was honored as an Outstanding Entrepreneur of Nghe An Province in 2025 for his notable achievements in production, business development, and philanthropy.

Mr. Hoang Van Duong – Chairman of the Board and General Director of Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation– was honored with the Certificate of Merit as an Outstanding Entrepreneur of 2025.
Responding to the province’s call for post-disaster relief, Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation, together with other businesses, donated a total of VND 5.75 billion to support residents affected by Tropical Storm No.10 (Bualoi), helping them stabilize their lives.

Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy General Director of Hoang Thinh Dat Corporation, represented the company in presenting the donation to provincial leaders.
The ceremony was an opportunity for provincial authorities to express appreciation to the business community, listen to their recommendations, and strengthen cooperation toward the shared goal of making Nghe An a dynamic growth hub of the nation in the 2025–2030 period.
